East Hartford,CT, USA - Wednesday, 11 February 2009 - Firth Rixson Forged Metals, located in Fontana, CA, is now offering conversion of Aluminum, Titanium, Superalloy, and Stainless Steel materials, in addition to its current supply of hand and die forgings and seamless rolled rings. Forged Metals will convert material weighing up to 8000 pounds and 25” in diameter.
Bar conversions will be supplied from alloys in stock, ordered, or from customer supplied materials. All bar products are in accordance with AMS or Mil specifications, heat treated and tested per customer requirements. Bar thicknesses of 2” or less will be available on an alloy by alloy basis. Forged Metals is an ISO 9001:2000 and EN/JISQ/AS9100:2004 approved supplier, Nadcap accredited for Heat Treatment of Aluminum, Titanium, Cobalt,and Nickel alloys.
