Meadowhall performs many unique forging operations, including specialized extruded and back-extruded products for aero-engine shafts, flanged cylinders, helicopter rotor masts, track recoil mechanisms, valve bodies, and underwater telecommunications connectors. Specially designed tooling enables Meadowhall’s presses to make forgings that eliminate the need for multi-part subassemblies. Our production expertise extends across such materials as high-cobalt-content, nickel-base super alloys, titanium and alloy steels. Equipped with extrusion presses with 5500-ton capabilities, Meadowhall produces highly cost-effective extruded forgings up to 1500kg in weight with OD ranges up to 460mm. In-house heat treatment, machining and destructive and non-destructive testing support Meadowhall's production.
