Firth Rixson Announces Agreement with Pratt & Whitney Canada

Sheffield, UK and East  Hartford, CT, USA – Wednesday, February 2 2010 –  Firth Rixson Limited, a major provider of  highly engineered forged and specialty metal products, today announced the  signature of a new long term purchasing agreement with Pratt & Whitney  Canada, continuing the supply chain collaboration in place between the two  companies since 2005. The cornerstone of this new agreement is the unprecedented  term, extending through 2021.

The agreement provides price  stability for both companies, and meets Pratt & Whitney Canada’s long  term sourcing initiatives. Firth Rixson estimates that this agreement will result  in an estimated $1B in sales over the term of the contract.
